Spring has sprung in Fernie and we welcome Albertan’s, British Columbian’s, all Canadian’s, and American’s (when the border opens) to camp with us.
As valued guests of Fernie RV Resort, your health and safety are our number one priority. Following the direction of the BC Public Health Officer, we will be implementing the following opening policy, as put forth in Phase 2 of BC’s Restart Plan. This policy has been created in the best interest of the health and safety of our guests and staff.
Please note our COVID-19 policies are subject to change based on the COVID-19 situation and potential changes from the BC Public Health Officer.
RVing, Tenting and Yurts
For June, we will be accepting RV and tent camping along with Yurt reservations however, camping will be restricted to pre-registered guests; walk-ins will not be accepted at this time.
Amenities
All washroom and laundry facilities will be open with increased cleaning and disinfecting schedules. Access codes to the washrooms will be provided upon check in. Social distancing will be expected and monitored in this area of the resort. Hand hygiene stations will be available, please use them and be aware and safe in this regard.
The playground will be open and town bikes will be available for loan. Spray disinfectants will be provided to the users.
Admin and Check-in
The admin office will be closed to the public until further notice. During regular office hours please phone the office on arrival and we will greet you outside the office with your check in package. If arriving after hours, check-in packages can be found in the gold mailbox located at the base of the admin building.
You will be required to sign two forms, the first is the occupancy form that we require upon check in that states our policies and that by signing, you agree to these policies. The second form will confirm our COVID-19 policy and your compliance with it when staying at our Resort. These forms can be downloaded here:

These forms can be returned to our mailbox or photographed on a smartphone and forwarded by email.
If you are in need of assistance, our admin staff can be contacted during regular office hours by phone, email, or at the office window. We are here to insure you have a safe and enjoyable stay in Fernie.
Services
Firewood and ice are available for purchase and can be delivered to your site. We will accept orders over the phone, by text or email and will charge your order to the credit card attached to your booking invoice. Payments can also be made by e-transfer, to stay@fernieRVresort.com.
COVID-19 protocols
Guests are asked to observe all recommended COVID-19 protocols. Physical distancing of six feet and hand hygiene being of utmost importance. No groups larger than six will be permitted to gather unless part of the same household. And most importantly, if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with known carriers or anyone who has been ill, please come another time.
