This summer, the Fernie RV Resort is celebrating its 9th season by installing a new pump track. Some might ask, what is a pump track? It’s an innovative play park amenity designed for wheeled sports equipment, where riders maintain momentum through a “pumping” action instead of pedaling or pushing.
Pump tracks are suitable for riders of all ages and skill levels, making them inclusive and welcoming spaces. They provide an excellent place for beginners to learn basic biking skills like balance, handling, and coordination, while advanced riders can refine their techniques and learn new tricks.
