The Fernie RV Resort (FRVR) team attended the Calgary RV Show from January 28th to 31st. A show booth representing both Fernie and the FRVR drew a large audience during the four-day show.

“Following two years of planning and construction it’s rewarding to finally be connecting with RVers” said Reto Barrington, FRVR Managing Owner. “We are excited to be opening and encourage you to take advantage of our opening special”!

The FRVR is a brand new luxury RV Resort with 115 sites and is opening on April 1st, 2016 with year around service. The opening special is a “2 for 1” online reservation discount for all campsites from April 1st to May 15th, 2016. The online reservations code is “2for1FRVR” and is live now.

The Calgary RV show attendees were excited to discover a new RV resort so close to Calgary with modern amenities and boundless activities. The Resort is surrounded by the Elk River, Maiden Lake, and the Fernie Golf and Country Club and connects with Fernie’s hiking and biking system. To highlight Fernie’s recreational and dining opportunities a Fernie Adventure Weekend valued over $1000 was drawn at the show.

Vicki Dyck of Calgary AB was the winner of the Calgary RV Show Fernie Adventure Weekend prize. Vicki won a weekend for two in Fernie including camping at the new FRVR, rafting, golfing, mountain biking, and dining at the Bridge Bistro and Brickhouse.
