Luxury RV Policy

The following policies have been established to ensure the comfort, enjoyment, safety and security of our guests and to facilitate the operation of the resort. These policies also help ensure the efficient and successful operation of the Resort.

DESIGNATED FLOOD ZONE
The Fernie RV Resort is in a designated flood zone and as such may be subject to evacuation on eight hours notice.

Check-out

Check-out time is 11am.

Check-in time is 3pm.

Quiet Hours
This is a family campground and most of your fellow campers are trying to sleep in the evening and early mornings so please be considerate and observe quiet time between 11pm and 8am. Generators are not allowed to run at any time.

Occupancy Limits

The maximum occupancy of Fernie RV Resort’s Luxury RVs must not be exceeded. Violating this limit will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

Restrictions

Pets are not permitted inside any of the Luxury RVs.

A $250 charge will be incurred if this policy is violated.

No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the rental RV.

A $400 charge will be incurred if this policy is violated.

Booking Policy

Must be at least 25 years of age to book.

Rate Details

2-night minimum on all reservation except long weekends which has a 3-night minimum.

Book 7 nights are receive a 20% discount.

Multi-week reservations longer than 7 nights will have weekly turnover with cleaning fee ($100).

$200 damage deposit to be paid at check-in and refunded after check-out, provided that any damage or missing or damaged contents will be charged to you upon check-out.

Rates are subject to 5% GST, 8% PST and 3% MRDT).

A valid credit card must be on file for any bookings that will be charged in case of any damages.

Daily Rate Cancellation
We require a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to your scheduled arrival date for all daily rate cancellations and changes to existing bookings.

Cancellations and changes made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Cancellations and changes made less than 7 days prior to the arrival date are non-refundable.

After occupancy, no refunds will be provided on that daily rate reservation.

Reservation Date Changes
If you need to change your dates, one complimentary change can be made per booking. For further changes, a $10.00 change fee will apply. Note that this fee does not apply if you are extending your stay.

Changes made less than 7 days prior to arrival that result in a reduction of the number nights on the reservation are subject to our standard cancellation policy.

Each Luxury RV has a unique layout and occupancy limit which can be viewed in individual listings. The maximum occupancy of Fernie RV Resort’s Luxury RVs must not be exceeded. Violating this limit will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

Rate Details

2-night minimum booking required, and 3-night minimum bookings on holiday weekends.

Stay-over service is only provided every 7 nights for longer stays, subject to a weekly cleaning fee of $100. Bookings less than 7 nights are not charged a cleaning fee.

Housekeeping is not provided during your stay. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all dishes are cleaned, and the RV is left in a gently used and clean condition upon check-out. Failure to leave your rental RV in a clean state will result in an additional cleaning fee of $150.

$200 damage deposit to be paid at check-in and refunded after check-out, provided that any damage or missing or damaged contents will be charged to you upon check-out.

Rates are subject to 5% GST, 8% PST and 3% MRDT.

A valid credit card must be on file for any bookings that will be charged in case of any damages.

$50.00 replacement fee will apply for any missing keys.

Wildlife
All wildlife attractants must be stored in a bear proof enclosure or in a secured vehicle anytime sites and accommodations are left unattended or when retiring at night.

Attractants include, but are not limited to: food, garbage, recycling, empty containers, coolers (full or empty), dishes (clean or dirty), stoves, and all scented items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc).

Any guest found to be in violation of this policy will be charged $100.00 by Fernie RV Resort without warning, and may be evicted without notice and/or refund.

Should the Municipal Bylaw Department or the Conservation Service attend to the property, additional fines from $200.00 to $1000.00 may be assessed. It is also possible that the Bear will have to be destroyed.

Visitors
Visitors and non-registered guests are welcome to park their vehicle on Fernie RV Resort property between 7am and 10pm, but must register all vehicles at reception and park only in designated guest parking areas.

Vehicles

Parking is guaranteed for one vehicle per site.

Depending on the specific site, additional vehicles may need to be parked away from the site. Additional parking is available near the centre washroom facility.

Speed limit is 20kp/h (12mph) on all laneways unless otherwise posted – please watch for cyclists, pedestrians, and children playing. Parking is permitted in designated parking areas only.

Unlicensed vehicles are not permitted to operate on the property of Fernie RV Resort.

Garbage
Guest are required to deposit all garbage into appropriate bear proof garbage containers located in convenient locations throughout the Resort. Burning of garbage is prohibited.

Fires
Campfires are permitted but must be attended at all times, kept low, and strictly contained within the fire rings provided. Campfire Bans may be imposed at any time.

Firewood may be purchased at the Admin centre.

Please note that cutting trees, shrubs or branches and gathering dead wood is strictly prohibited. Please do your part to maintain our natural environment.

No smoking or vaping of tobacco or cannabis is permitted inside the rental RV or in public areas within the Resort. A $400 charge will be incurred if this policy is violated.
